Anne Veski’s Platinum Jubilee Concert in Tallinn’s Unibet Arena

For decades now, Anne Veski has wowed audiences and listeners at home with her gorgeous voice and extremely catchy melodies. On Saturday, 7 March in Tallinn’s Unibet Arena, fans will get the opportunity to see her live for a very special occasion. This beloved singer will be celebrating her Platinum jubilee with a massive concert, and her performance will be joined by other major singers on Estonia’s music scene.

As a teenager Veski studied music and piano in her hometown of Rapla. In her early 20s she was already known as a singer for her performances on Estonian Television, or ETV. Over the years she has produced a string of hits continuing all the way up to modern times, and has performed in 33 countries. Spanning generations, her music continues to resonate even with today’s…how should we say it…”selective” younger audiences.

Anne Veski’s jubilee concert will not only feature her greatest hits and more, but it will also be a tribute concert to those who helped her along the way, namely: her audience! The Unibet Arena will be turned into a glittery venue of celebration and adoration for all who attend.

Adding to this momentous occasion will be special performances by other adored Estonian artists. Jüri Pootsmann, known for having won the sixth season of Estonia’s version of the “Pop Idol” television franchise, and representing Estonia in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, will also perform. Koit Toome, one of the country’s most prolific singers, who represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest not once, but twice, will also take to the stage. Marek Sadam, another popular Estonian singer, will also be performing.

Tickets to Anne Veski’s Platinum Jubilee concert are available here. Note that the webpage recommends younger audience members wear “protective headphones”. This is not so they can listen to their own music while their parents dance and enjoy the concert. This is so they can more clearly hear the fun, quality music of the concert itself, without it being too loud.
