Viimsi Wine Festival 2026

Summer might be slowly winding down, but the fun Estonia has to offer is not. On 15 August in Viimsi Artium, enjoy a night of good wine and great company while listening to music and making new friends on the venue’s gorgeous rooftop terrace. Special tickets are also available to Master classes happening during the event, which will be hosted by some of Estonia’s best sommeliers.

Starting at 15:00, visitors can enjoy wines from several different regions, and hear stories about these wines and where they’re from. Accounts will be given by various well-known Estonian sommeliers, and visitors will also be treated to delicious foods that pair well with the various wines. Throughout the event, DJ music will be playing.

Tickets to the Viimsi Wine Festival are available here, and tickets to the individual Master classes must be purchased in advance separately, but at the same link. The three classes are:

1—Different Glasses, and Wine, at 15:00

“Does the glass change the taste of wine? During this practical tasting, sommelier Aivar Vipper helps discover how the right glass affects the aromas, flavours and overall experience of wine. There will be surprises for both beginners and experienced wine enthusiasts.”

2—Eight Traditional Wines From Italian Family Wineries, at 17:00

“Discover eight authentic Italian wines with generations of tradition behind them. The tasting is led by sommelier Aivar Vipper, and Italian winemakers will also be present to share their stories and experiences.”

3—Ten Sparkling Surprises, at 19:00

“The evening ends with a fun blind tasting where you can test your senses together with your team. Can you identify the countries of origin and grape varieties of sparkling wines? There will be plenty of clues, prizes await, and a good atmosphere is guaranteed.”

Viimsi Artium is a relatively new cultural centre in Viimsi. The building alone is worth the visit. Cheers!
