For five nights lovers of classical guitar can enjoy nightly concerts in and around Tartu performed by local and international artists doing what they do best: playing their passion on the world’s most popular instrument.

 

23–27 September Matsalu Nature Film Festival, Lihula

The first week of this annual film festival featuring nature documentaries will take place in Lihula, and the following week throughout Estonia. This is a great educational event for learning about Estonian nature.

 

25 September Silverwhite Exhibition opening, Tallinn

The Estonian Maritime Museum will festively open its latest exhibition, titled “Hõbevalge” in Estonian, based on the book of the same name by former Estonian President Lennart Meri.

 

26 September WDSF Tartu Open Dance Competition, Tartu

This International Dancesport Competition will take place in Tartu’s University of Tartu Sports Centre and will feature Estonia’s best dancers, as well as some from abroad.

 

26 September Lamprey Festival, Narva-Jõesuu

Perhaps the most well-known annual event in and around the spa region of Narva-Jõesuu, local culinary and cultural traditions will be celebrated.

 

26–27 September Baltic Cup 2026, Aidu

This U18 event is part of World Rowing, the international federation of crew and rowing competitions and clubs. It takes place in the extremely unique environment of the Aidu quarries, offering visitors a chance to explore a very interesting area in addition to the competition.
