Ülemiste Night Run 2026

Fun runs can be a lot of…fun…if you’re into running, but the Ülemiste Night Run is enjoyable for the whole family. Visit Tallinn’s Ülemiste mall parking lot on 14–15 August, and enjoy all manner of entertainment. The first night is more for performances and community, and the second day is focused on the actual races. That’s right: there are several categories of running events.

The first night of the event focuses primarily on entertainment, music, and overall community participation. The course will feature orchestras, choirs, DJs, dancers, and acrobats. The purpose is just to get people to be active, and have a good time doing it. The “races” will be the Stebby 5K, which is sponsored by Stebby, an employee wellness company; the Neptunas 10K, which will take participants through Tallinn itself before returning to Ülemiste; a Costume Run, another 5K in which athletes have to wear a full costume, meaning just a wig or funny glasses isn’t enough; and the Ville Viking Children’s Run, a series of much shorter races for kids 13 and under.

The main event is the second day, which features more competitive races. There will be a classic half-marathon, or 21.1K, and a Ladies Only 10.5K. Likely the most popular race that day will be one complete lap of the course, which is just a bit over 5K. All these races will include running up multistory parking garages.

Given that this event takes place in Estonia, there will also be a Virtual Fun Run, where participants follow the honour system by competing on any route they choose, anywhere in the world. The only catch is that it has to be done during the Ülemiste Night Run two-day event.

Registration and more information are available here.
