Colourful exhibitions open at Victoria Olt gallery

Last Friday, May 3, two new exhibitions opened at the Victoria Olt gallery in Tallinn’s old town. The exhibitions showcase the colourful works of Spanish artist Riso Chan and Estonian artist Eliis.

The exhibition “Flora garden” by the Spanish artist Riso Chan, is a glimpse into the artist’s colorful imaginary world, where the portraits are intertwined with flowers. According to the artist, they are painted on the dreams of the future and the scars of the past. Serving as a visual diary to the artist’s emotions, where she explores colour, playfulness and portraiture.

“I invite you to step into my imagination, a space where being a little weird is celebrated,” shared the Spanish artist, Riso Chan.

In the exhibition “Kronos: cosmic, chaotic & chronic”, the artist Eliis Kuusk explores the perception and feeling of time. “I don’t know how I feel about time, so I can only paint it,” she explains. This is Eliis’ second solo exhibition at the Victoria Olt gallery.

The exhibitions will remain open until June 30. Admission to the Victoria Olt gallery is free of charge.
