New watercolour exhibition opens at the Pärnu Museum of New Art

The Estonian Watercolour Artists’ Association new exhibition “Echoes of Nature: journey through diverse Estonian natural environment” invites visitors to the Pärnu Museum of New Art to explore the beauty and fragility of Estonia’s environment.

Estonia’s natural beauty is defined by its coastline, lush forests, expansive farmlands, and endless wetlands. However, like everywhere in the world, Estonia’s natural integrity and biodiversity face global environmental threats.

The exhibition reflects the stunning diversity of Estonia’s landscapes while also highlighting their vulnerability. Each piece offering a unique interpretation of nature and serving as a call to action to address environmental issues such as deforestation, pollution, climate change, and the loss of natural habitats. The artists’ works drawing attention to these challenges, and encouraging viewers to reflect on how we can all protect and restore the environment.

The exhibition will remain on display until December 1, 2024 at the Pärnu Museum of New Art (Uue Kunsti Muuseum).
