Station Narva, now in its ninth year, will take place in Narva from 3–6 September. While the main part of the event will be on 4–5 September, there will be opening concerts on the third, as well as “pre-events”. Main events will be held in the historic Hermann Castle, which is part of the Narva Museum. There will also be an art programme, tours, various activities throughout the city, discussion panels, and of course…food!
On Friday, 4 September, musical acts include Tricky from the UK, MALLA from Finland, SADU, mariin k., boipepperoni, Luurel Varas, Skoone, and Mihkel Kuusk. The next day, 5 September, will have GusGus from Iceland, ALIKA, EiK, La Fazani from Kosovo, Elizabete Balčus from Latvia, and PLANEET. More names will be announced, but there is no guarantee that these extra names will be stylised in a way that is easier to pronounce. The precise venues for these concerts will be the main stage inside the museum, the courtyard, and the refectorium. Both nights will have afterparties at Club Ro-Ro by the river.

Of particular interest to many might be the “Narva Venice” boat tours. On 5 September, canoe tours will depart every ten minutes starting at 12:30 until 18:00 for only €20. The route takes paddlers through the canals of Narva, in the Kulgu district just to the south of the museum and castle. Views of Narva here are possible that simply don’t exist elsewhere. Tours of the Kreenholm premises are also available, as well as many other activities.
