3–6 September Station Narva Festival, Narva

A diverse selection of music by Estonian and international performers at the Narva Castle courtyard and Ro-Ro Club in the harbour, along with urban culture and art in the Kreenholm area and the district of boathouses and canals known as Narva’s Venice, plus a taste of the contemporary European spirit of this EU border city in eastern Estonia.

 

4 September Fear Factory’s Hard-Hitting Concert, Tallinn

The four-man American band, one of the pioneers of industrial metal since the 1990s, stops at Helitehas club during its world tour. Expect an evening of powerful guitar riffs and dark, heavy music, with the interesting Japanese metalcore band Crystal Lake among the supporting acts.

 

4–13 September Food Festival on the Islands, Saaremaa and Muhu

Autumn markets and a street picnic in Kuressaare, tastings of local products at Coop supermarkets, dinner offers at restaurants, an apple-themed home café day and various side events on the island of Muhu.

 

5 September Campervan Festival, Tallinn

Builders of homemade campervans and other wheeled recreational homes gather for the fourth time for an afternoon at Põhjala Factory to showcase their vehicles and share their experiences. There is a small admission fee for visitors, while those arriving in their own vehicles get in free.

 

5 September Jäneda Autumn Fair, Jäneda, Western Virumaa

Sellers from the surrounding Virumaa region and elsewhere in Estonia set up stalls in front of Jäneda Manor, offering food and drinks made from garden and field produce, smoked meat, Peipsimaa onion pastries, handicrafts, practical household items and much more. The programme stage provides musical entertainment.

 

5 September Gourmet Market 2026, Haapsalu

Western Estonia’s largest local food market takes place at the historic railway station, with almost 50 Estonian vendors from the Haapsalu area and further afield. A three-course menu prepared by chef Riho Sommerman and local culinary students will be available for free tasting by everyone at 11:30, 12:30 and 13:30.

 

5 September Armin van Buuren at the Song Festival Grounds, Tallinn

The Dutch-born, Grammy-winning DJ performs in Estonia for the third time. According to the organisers, this will be more than a conventional concert: a spectacular audiovisual experience combining modern lighting, visual effects and special effects with van Buuren’s music.

 

5 September Aviation Day, Jõhvi

Yes, even eastern Estonia has its own small airfield for recreational pilots. The programme brings aerobatic pilots and air acrobats before and above the audience, along with public flights, a market and entertainment for the whole family.

 

5–6 September Jüri Jaanson’s Two Bridges Run, Pärnu

This celebration of exercise and sport offers activities for all ages. Saturday’s family day includes children’s races, a wheelchair race and an entertaining 3 km evening run through the city’s evening scenery. On Sunday, the 10 km Two Bridges Run and fitness walk follow the riverside.

 

6 September Northern Estonia Food Day, Lahemaa

A themed day featuring 24 manor, garden and restaurant businesses spread from Lahemaa National Park into the surrounding Harju and Viru regions, offering food, medicinal herbs, wines and eye candy in the form of art.
