A Day of Greenhouses, Gardens, and Verandas in Northern Estonia

Visitors will be welcome across Northern Estonia to visit greenhouses, gardens, and verandas on 6 September from 11:00 until 17:00. 24 unique locations will offer the chance to experience various living spaces that have expanded outdoors, how many of them grow food, and even the option to sample local produce. This year’s theme is “Walk, Taste, Notice!”

From ornamental and kitchen gardens to blooming flowers and their delectable fragrances, visitors can see for themselves how various natural remedies and even cosmetics are made. See fresh apple juice being pressed, then sample it! Lots of animals can be encountered up close. What’s special about this part is the artistic design for the animals’ habitats.

24 distinctive locations across Northern Estonia are on this year’s programme. Each has its own hosts, who are happy to share their knowledge and advice. This event is an excellent chance to get some great ideas for your own countryside garden or terrace. The day’s programme includes excursions, garden tours, workshops, and more.

All 24 locations are listed here, but the site is only in Estonian. Still, each venue is on the list as a button, and if you click on it, you can find the address, and plan your own route. Plus, using translation software these days generally isn’t too difficult.

Enjoy this year’s Day of Greenhouses, Gardens, and Verandas in Northern Estonia!
