Pärnu Museum has opened a new summer exhibition, “The Leisure Factory: Soviet-Era Mass Tourism and Architecture”. It explores Pärnu’s holiday culture and the architectural character of its holiday facilities during the decades of Soviet rule.

3–4 July Tartu Punch Music Festival, Tartu
The first ever festival of this name takes place at Tartu’s Song Festival Grounds and features a very long lineup of artists from Estonia and abroad.
3–5 July Pärnu Hanseatic Days, Pärnu
This massive event near the riverside provides visitors with a portal back in time to experience life from the Medieval period to the late Renaissance. Food, culture, clothing, markets, music, chivalry, everything that is characterised by this era of European history.
3–5 July Valga Hot Shorts Film Festival, Valga
This year’s festival programme features 27 short films from 16 different countries.
