Tallinn Rock Festival Is Just Around the Corner

In a little over a week Tallinn Rock Festival will take place in—you guessed it—Tallinn, at the Unibet Arena from 31 July to 2 August. This year’s festival is 50% longer than last year’s, and the selection of bands is much more admirable. Headlining this year’s event will be the Scorpions, Godsmack, and the one and only Sepultura. There will be two stages for back-to-back performances by all artists.

Day one will see a diverse lineup of international and Estonian bands. Star Crystal, a Ukrainian and Romanian band; Black Sun, an interesting combo of Finland and Ecuador; Royal Hunt from Denmark; White Lies from the UK; and three Estonian bands. Headlining will be the Scorpions, originally from Germany. Formed in 1965, this concert will be part of their 60th anniversary tour. The band have sold over 100 million albums around the world. They are widely known for their massive hits “Wind of Change”, and “Rock You Like a Hurricane”.

Day two will see an equally interesting mix of artists. P.O.D. from the US; Sever, and Unsainted, both from Latvia; and five Estonian bands. Finishing up the night will be Godsmack, also from the US. This band, nominated four times for a Grammy, is described as nu-metal and post-grunge. Having released nine studio albums since their formation in 1995, they have had 25 top-ten rock radio hits, and 12 at number one in the same category.

The last day of Tallinn Rock will see Khroma from Finland; two more American bands—Hatebreed, and Rivetskull; and five more Estonian bands. The headliner of the night, and indeed the festival itself, is Brazilian rock legends Sepultura. For nearly 40 years, these heavyweights of rock have been known as one of the pioneers of thrash and groove metal.

The complete lineup for Tallinn Rock 2026 as well as tickets are available in English here, and the official homepage for the event, which is only in Estonian, is here.
