Airbourne in Concert

Airbourne is an Australian band that is self-described as a “hard rock powerhouse”. They will perform in Tallinn’s Helitehas venue on 29 August as part of their “Gutsy” tour. They are known for their dedication to classic Aussie pub rock, and are very reminiscent of fellow Australian superstars AC/DC. This concert “promises a night built on volume, velocity, and pure physical energy”. What else could you ask for in a band?

Formed in 2001, Airbourne have spent over two decades building their impeccable reputation as a great live band. As the band often describes themselves, “Turn the world off, and turn the music up!” In 2007 Airbourne released their debut album, “Runnin’ Wild”, to international critical acclaim, entering the charts throughout the English-speaking world, notably the UK, US, and of course Australia. They’ve also reached the German Top 10 with multiple albums, eventually selling over three million albums by 2011 worldwide.

“Gutsy”, the name of their tour, is the namesake of their recent 2025 release, a single that they say describes the band’s core identity. As the band’s lead singer, Joel O’Keeffe, says, “There’s no private jets, no limousines. We all sleep on the same bus, crew and band together. It’s the right way. We love touring, and we love getting out and playing.”

Estonian band Elephants From Neptune will be the opening act. They were the winners of the “Best Band” award in 2017 at the Estonian Music Awards.
