Tallinn Fashion Week returns with a new venue

Tallinn Fashion Week will take place on March 20 and 21 at the Vene Kultuurikeskus, offering an exciting programme of runway shows featuring both acclaimed and emerging designers.

The fashion week will demonstrate seasonal trends alongside timeless pieces from Estonia’s top designers. “Fashion shows featuring beautiful models and designer creations provide inspiration for the upcoming spring-summer wardrobe. Fashion Week is a major workload for designers and their teams, but it is a necessary marketing tool and an emotionally inspiring event,” says Tallinn Fashion Week’s creative director, Katrin Kuldma.

This year’s lineup includes designers such as Ilona Abdullaeva, Anastassija Balak, Brand NO.8, Mammu Couture, Marilin Sikkal, and Tiina Talumees, the latest winner of the Golden Needle award. A special multibrand show by the design store LEVI will feature collections from Hannes Rüütel, Althea, Karin Rask, Vilve Unt, and Xenia Joost.

The event will also highlight young talent. “More than ever, we are involving the entire Estonian fashion industry and educational institutions in Tallinn Fashion Week. We are engaging young fashion enthusiasts, organisers of student fashion shows, and participants,” Kuldma adds. Two emerging designers, Ralf Oskar Siim and the design duo Heleene Toater & Karmen Emily Gabor, will present their collections on the main stage.

This spring, Tallinn Fashion Week will take place at the Vene Kultuurikeskus – a new setting for attendees. “The venue will be a pleasant surprise for our audience – a central Tallinn location with a larger capacity than before. As a contrast to last spring’s extreme experience at the pool, we now offer a cosy theatre atmosphere with plenty of comfortable seating,” says event organiser Anu Kikas.

More information is available on Tallinn Fashion Week website.
