Tallinn Food Truck Festival 2026

Tallinn’s trendy Telliskivi area is hosting a food truck festival on 8–9 August. Food from many countries will be available, there will be musical entertainment, games, and much more. A great, family-friendly event and a good excuse to get to know this up-and-coming former industrial district of Estonia’s capital city.

Over 50 food trucks from Estonia and neighbouring countries will show off exactly what they can do to make your belly happy. Described as “the largest flavour caravan in the three Baltic countries”, there will surely be something for everyone at this event. They will compete for the “Best Food” award. But food isn’t the only thing being judged here…the food trucks themselves will be competing against one another for the “Best Design” award, something most people hardly think about when ordering street food. Both categories will be decided on by the public, who can vote on site.

What’s more, there will be a burger eating competition. Described by the organisers as a “fast-paced” event, this means competitors will have to eat as many burgers as possible in as little time as they can, all during the era of minimising food waste, not to mention sarcasm in journalism.

There will be a live music programme as well as DJ sets throughout the day. Entry to the event itself is free, although the food is not. The event will last for two days from noon until 22:00 each day, and the official event on Facebook is here.

Telliskivi is a former industrial complex near the Balti Jaam Station in Tallinn. Today comprising over ten buildings, more than 300 companies operate there, as well as the world-renowned Fotografiska Tallinn building. Dubbed a creative hub by locals, it is largely modeled after bohemian regions in Berlin and other cities.
