Tallinn Music Week 2025 sets new application record

Tallinn Music Week (TMW) 2025, scheduled for April 3-6 2025, has attracted a record number of applications, with nearly 1,800 performers from 106 countries expressing interest in participating. According to the organisers, this marks a significant rise in global interest, with applications coming from countries across Europe, North and South America, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Oceania. Notably, the highest number of applications came from Estonia, Finland, and the United Kingdom.

Countries such as France, Poland, Italy, and Canada remain in the top ten for the third consecutive year, while Ukraine joins the ranks for the first time. Other countries, including Germany, Sweden, Norway, and the United States, also saw a notable increase in interest, reflecting TMW’s expanding global reach.

The applications will be filtered down to 175 selected artists, who will be announced in January and perform at venues across Tallinn in April.

Festival passes, starting at 69 euros, are also now available on the official TMW website, with options for conference access as well.
