On February 22, there will be a chamber concert highlighting the works of influential Estonian composers. The ‘Music for Estonia’ concert at the Estonian National Opera, which takes place just two days before Independence Day, will include pieces by the likes of Eino Tamberg, René Eespere, and Rein Rannap.
The 117th season of the Estonian National Opera offers a series of chamber concerts focusing on Estonian and international composers, which highlight the chamber music tradition born in the courts and salons more than 200 years ago.
The next concert in the series, which comes just two days before the 106th anniversary of Estonia’s independence will focus on pieces by Estonian composers.
At the concert, you will hear the likes of “Music for Oboe” Op. 35 and “Five Romances to Poems of Sándor Petöfi” Op. 4 by Eino Tamberg. Along with pieces from the likes of Mart Saar, René Eespere, Heino Eller, and Rein Rannap.
Tickets for the concert this evening (February 22) in the Chamber Hall of the Estonian National Opera are available at Piletilevi.
