2022 sees a return to a more usual spring and summer schedule, and with it the return of Tallinn Music Week, which has seen multiple postponements and scaled down festivals during the pandemic.
This year brings a return to a more normal program, except for one big twist. May 5-6 will take place in Tallinn, while May 7-8 will take place in Narva. This year, over 180 solo acts and bands will take part in the festival over the four days.
These include well-liked and established Estonian acts such as Nublu, Mick Pedaja and Maarja Nuut. There will also be many acts from around the world, including from the UK (with Floating Point perhaps being the most high profile), as well as numerous acts from Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Iceland and many more countries.
The genres of music on offer are as wide as the countries the performers are from, from classical all the way through to heavy metal.
As well as the music festival, there will also be a number of conferences and events taking place in Tallinn and Narva. There will also be a number of free concerts taking place in Narva on May 7.
To learn more about the festival, the artists, the schedule. the concert venues, and to purchase tickets, please visit the Tallinn Music Week official website, here.
