22.11–27.12 Tallinn Christmas Market, Town Hall Square, Tallinn

The Tallinn Christmas Market features over 60 stalls offering handmade items, sweets, Christmas decorations, and food stands serving traditional Estonian festive cuisine. Visitors can enjoy live music and dance performances, while children can play on carousels and visit Santa Claus in his grotto.

 

23.11.24–29.05.25 Kinky Boots, Vanemuine Theatre, Tartu

The hit musical Kinky Boots, inspired by the Miramax film and the work of writers Geoff Deane and Tim Firth, tells a heartwarming and humorous story of friendship, individuality, and bold fashion choices. Featuring music and lyrics by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, this six-time Tony Award-winning production will be brought to life by Finnish director Samuel Harjanne.

 

30.11.24–05.01.25 Christmas Town, Tartu

Tartu’s Town Hall Square will host the Christmas Town until early January. Glass pavilions decorated with festive lights will feature art and science exhibitions, workshops, live music, and cozy cafés. Visitors can also find special gifts for their loved ones.

 

01–29.12 Fairytale Courtyards, Old Town, Tallinn

In December, Tallinn’s Old Town features stunning courtyards adorned with lights and Christmas decorations. These spaces bring Estonian folk tales and holiday stories to life.

 

01.12.24–04.01.25 Christmas Wonderland, Torma Manor, Jõgeva County

The winter village has numerous attractions including Santa Claus’s manor, an animal sculpture park, and seasonal train rides. Families and groups can take part in activities like crafting workshops and themed events such as the “Sweet Candy Rally.”

 

03.12.24–07.01.25 Christmas in Niguliste, Niguliste Church, Tallinn

The Niguliste Museum marks a special Advent season in December. A Christmas tree decorated by Shishi stands in the center of the medieval church hall among the museum’s art treasures. Visitors can also explore an exhibition about unicorns and enjoy numerous concerts throughout the month.

 

23.12 Christmas with the King of Rock’n Roll, Alexela Concert Hall, Tallinn

Ben Thompson, recognised as the 2018 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Champion, has been performing as Elvis Presley since he was 15 years old. His dedication to authentically portraying Elvis has taken him worldwide, including Australia, Europe, and America. Thompson has won multiple titles and was officially endorsed by Elvis Presley Enterprises, underscoring his commitment to preserving Elvis’s legacy.

 

25–28.12 Musical stand-up Igudesman & Joo, Around Estonia

Violinist Aleksey Igudesman and pianist Hyung-Ki Joo bring their musical talent and humour to the stage, combining classical music with playful improvisations. With their distinct comedic style, they offer a fun and lively experience for families this festive season.

 

26.12 Christmas Adventure for Families, Vooremäe, Tartu County

The family-friendly Christmas hike is filled with activity stops features engaging challenges, and holiday treats like mulled wine and gingerbread. Participants will follow a 2.5–3 km route using provided maps, with helpers or instructions available at each stop. The mix of sensory and interactive tasks are available in both Estonian and English.

 

27–30.12 ABBA Chique – Suur aastalõpukontsert ”Happy New Year”, Around Estonia

ABBA Chique are a famous ABBA tribute band from the UK, known for their energetic performances and authentic renditions of ABBA’s classic hits. With their dazzling costumes and energetic stage presence, the band recreates iconic ABBA live shows, performing favorites like “Waterloo,” “Chiquitita,” and “Dancing Queen.”
