Be serenaded by Brazillian music this week

This week, audiences around Estonia will be treated to concerts from Grammy-nominated musicians Martin Kuuskmann and Jovino Santos Neto. At the concert entitled “Brazilian Serenade. Bossanova” pieces from the likes of Hermeto Pascoali, Antônio Carlos Jobimi, and of course, Jovino Santos Neto, will be performed.

Estonian-born bassoon virtuoso Martin Kuuskmann, who studied and now lives in the USA, and Brazilian pianist and composer Jovino Santos Neto, have joined forces for four concerts around Estonia this week.

“Jovino Santos Neto is one of the best worldwide performers of Brazilian music. For many years he has been the pianist for Hermeto Pascoal. We have played this programme with him several times, and always with great success. Jovino Santos Neto has the ability to captivate any audience. As a Brazilian, he knows this music inside out and I enjoy a full and complete musical collaboration with him, ” shared Martin Kuuskmann.

The Grammy-nominated musicians will perform a selection of pieces by Brazilian composers, including from the likes of Hermeto Pascoali, Antônio Carlos Jobimi, Jovino Santos Neto, and others.

The duo will perform their concert entitled “Brazilian Serenade. Bossanova” at the following venues on the dates below:
