Major Finnish Metal Band to Perform in Tallinn

An upcoming concert at Rockclub Tapper tomorrow, 27 March, brings together two notable names from the Nordic and Baltic metal scenes, offering Tallinn audiences an evening of modern metal in a great club setting. Headlining the event is Bloodred Hourglass, one of Finland’s leading contemporary metal acts, joined by rising Estonian band Pridian.

Bloodred Hourglass has steadily built a strong reputation within the international metal community, combining melodic death metal elements with modern production and energetic live performances. Their growing status is reflected in multiple nominations for Finland’s prestigious Emma Awards, often referred to as the Finnish equivalent of the Grammys. Over the years, the band have expanded its audience beyond Finland through extensive touring and festival appearances, gaining recognition for both their musical precision, and powerful stage presence.

The Tallinn concert is part of the band’s tour promoting their album “We Should Be Buried Like This”, which has already taken them across Europe. The tour has included both high-profile support slots, such as opening for the Swedish metal supergroup The Halo Effect, and their own headline shows. This dual exposure has significantly broadened their international fanbase, and reinforced their position as a prominent act in the modern metal scene.

The choice of Rockclub Tapper as the venue adds a distinct character to the event. Known for its raw, underground atmosphere and dedication to heavier music genres, the venue has become a key hub for alternative and metal concerts in Tallinn. Its relatively small capacity compared to arenas allows for a close connection between performers and audience, making concerts there particularly intense and immersive.

The opening act, Pridian, represents the new wave of Estonian metal. As one of the country’s most promising emerging bands, they bring fresh energy and local relevance to the lineup. Sharing the stage with an internationally established act like Bloodred Hourglass highlights both their growing reputation, and the increasing visibility of Estonia’s own metal scene.

This is their only concert in the Baltics, and tickets are available here.
