All Souls’ Chamber Choir Concert

Tallinn’s famous St Nicholas Church and Museum will have a chamber choir concert performed by Head Ööd, Vend! on 23 November 2025 at 19:00. The choir will perform their “Traditional All Souls’ Concert”. This concert is a continuation of the choir’s custom of giving church performances in Tallinn and Rapla during All Souls’ time.
The programme features a number of sacred choral masterworks by composers such as Arvo Pärt, Cyrillus Kreek, Gregorio Allegri, Anton Bruckner, Franz Biebl, Thomas Tallis, as well as the choir’s own conductor, Pärt Uusberg. Many of these pieces have been performed by the choir in previous years, making this concert a chance to revisit and deepen their interpretations in collaboration with their vocal coach, Kaia Urb.
Given that the concert is scheduled for late November, the selection of pieces balances the reflective mood of All Souls’ with a more celestial, Advent-like atmosphere. This intricate mix gives the event a contemplative and spiritually resonant character.
Please note that the museum and its permanent exhibitions will be closed to regular visits during the concert. Doors open 30 minutes before the performance, allowing the audience to settle in before the choir begins. Tickets are available here.
