The Exploited Delivers Their Best for Fans of Raw Punk

Scottish punk band The Exploited will perform on 2 February 2026 at Tallinn’s Paavli Kultuurivabrik. The band is one of the key names of the UK82 movement, and its early albums “Punks Not Dead” from 1981, “Troops of Tomorrow” from 1982, and “Let’s Start a War” from 1983, helped shape the sound and attitude of early 1980s British punk.

The Exploited brought punk music back to its core elements: fast tempo, blunt expression, and catchy choruses. Formed in Edinburgh in 1980 and fronted by vocalist Wattie Buchan, the band gave the UK82 movement a recognisable rhythm and aesthetic. Their influence gave rise to a rawer and faster direction in both hardcore and street punk.

The band’s music has also left its mark beyond punk. The Exploited’s energy and style helped pave the way for thrash and crossover metal, influencing entire generations within heavier music scenes.

Over four decades, The Exploited has maintained a clear artistic focus: uncompromising live performances and socially critical lyrics. Their shows are known for their raw intensity and strong audience engagement. The slogan “Punk’s Not Dead” is more of a mantra than just a catchphrase for the band.

Tickets for the gig are available here.
