“Messengers,” the solo exhibition by graphic artist and lecturer Ardo Sägi, will open at Gallery Pallas on Thursday, January 9, at 5 pm. The exhibition explores various messages that have inspired Sägi’s artistic process, translating them into visual form.
“Messengers” presents a collection of works, each stemming from a specific message that Sägi has received and interpreted. These messages evoke a spectrum of emotions—ranging from positive to negative—and are expressed through various artistic mediums. The exhibition spans two floors of Gallery Pallas, marking Sägi’s largest solo exhibition to date.
Ardo Sägi, born in 1964, graduated from the State Art Institute of the Estonian SSR (now the Estonian Academy of Arts) in 1992 with a degree in graphic arts. His career includes numerous exhibitions featuring his graphic prints and drawings. A member of the Association of Estonian Printmakers since 2023, Sägi has also been imparting his knowledge as a lecturer at the Pallas University of Applied Sciences since 2014.
