Kuressaare Maritime Days is happening for the 28th time

The 28th Kuressaare Maritime Days will take place on August 2 and 3, at Raiekivi Säär in Saaremaa. The outdoor event has attracted locals and visitors for 27 years since it first began in 1997. As well as live music from top Estonian acts there is a bustling fair, antiques, and activities for children.

The big opening event will take place on August 1, at Kaunispe port, Saaremaa. On August 2, the festivities begin with a performance by Jaagup Tuisk at 7 pm on the Beach Stage, followed by Ollie at 8 pm on the Sea Stage. Maarja will perform at 10 pm on the Beach Stage, and the day will conclude with Ewert and The Two Dragons at 11.30 pm on the Sea Stage. The following day, August 3, features Inger at 7 pm on the Beach Stage, Púr Múdd at 8.30 pm on the Sea Stage, Sadamasild at 10 pm on the Beach Stage, and Traffic at 11.30 pm on the Sea Stage.

A key attraction is the bustling fair, open from 12 pm to 7 pm on August 2 and from 10 am to 7 pm on August 3. The fair offers a variety of crafts, new designs, unique foods, and interesting drinks. The fair’s family-friendly activity area includes educational initiatives like the “Protect the Sea” campaign and the Fisheries Information Centre’s tent, where children learn to clean and cook fish.

The Haakrik Fair, dedicated to antiques and collectibles, will run from 12 pm to 6 pm on August 2 and from 10 am to 6 pm on August 3. Since 2000, the Haakrik Fair has featured authentic maritime relics, antiques, and collectibles, offering a meeting place for antique dealers from Estonia and the Baltic region. This fair provides a unique opportunity for enthusiasts to gather, buy, sell, and exchange valuable items and knowledge in a vibrant marketplace atmosphere.
