Esteemed multi-instrumentalist to perform around South Estonia

Young Estonian multi-instrumentalist, church musician, and improviser Marten Meibaum will perform a series of concerts at around south Estonia between June 20 and 22.
Marten Meibaum, born in 1998, has a rich background in music, having studied cello at the Tallinn Music School and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester under Professor Nicholas Jones. He recently completed his master’s studies at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (EMTA) in 2023. Meibaum has achieved significant recognition, including first place in the national “Best Young Instrumentalist” competition and special awards for his performances of Eduard Tubin’s cello concerto.
His talent has been showcased in numerous prestigious events. He has been a soloist with the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra and Estonian National Symphony Orchestra (ERSO). Additionally, as part of the piano quintet Kodumaine Viisik, he has received multiple accolades, both in Estonia and abroad. Meibaum is also a long-standing member of the Kiili Early Music Ensemble.
This series of church concerts will showcase his exceptional musical talents in an intimate and historic setting.

Although entry to the concerts is free of charge donations are welcomed.
