Cult band The Underground Youth come to Tallinn

On Sunday, April 28, the alternative music group The Underground Youth from Manchester in the UK will present their new album at a concert at Paavli Culture Factory in Tallinn. Czech psychedelic rock band Orient will perform as a special guest.

The Underground Youth’s soundscape resembles a cinematic one, characterised by soulful post punk, mellow lo-fi, dynamic psychedelia, and romantic melancholy. At their concert this Sunday in Tallinn the band will present their eleventh studio album, Nostalgia’s Glass. The album is a retrospective look back to the early years of the band, leaving a nostalgic and bittersweet feeling, taking into account both negative and positive memories and experiences.

The performance of The Underground Youth also marks exactly 1 year since the opening of the Paavli Culture Factory. “Our production team strives to offer the best audio and visual experience to all our visitors, and therefore hosting The Underground Youth is perfect for us after a year of development,” commented Mihhail Makoshin, head of the production team at Paavli Culture Factory.

The support band at the gig will be Orient from the Czech Republic. Their style experiments with modern electronics, creating a unified psychedelic soundscape that takes cues from both German krautrock and English post-punk.
