Specialised Skin Care

Specialised Skin Care

Find the right treatment for your skin type at i3 Viru Ilusalong.

Everyone is different and skin type is no exception. It’s important to take care of your skin, no matter the time of year. The Baltic Guide went to visit i3 Viru Ilusalong to try the new line of specialised skin care from Maria Galland.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting at i3 Viru Ilusalong. Service is friendly and professional. All of the cosmeticians know their trade and can answer any questions you may have.

I lie down on the chair and Kati, my cosmetician, asks me about my skin. I explain that it’s a bit dry, but also oily in the t-zone. Kati also remarks that my skin is a bit red. She immediately recommends the Soin Dermatologie treatment for sensitive skin. Essentially, this treatment helps reduce redness. All the products used are free from preservatives. They help stimulate microcirculation and strengthen capillary walls.

The treatment starts with cleansing and exfoliation. Then, the first clay mask is applied, which stays on for about eight minutes. The mask is then rehydrated and removed. A serum is applied to the face that works with second mask and then the second mask is applied. While the mask set, I was given a relaxing, yet deep massage of the shoulders and chest, then the massage moved to the pressure points of the face. The second mask has some rubber in it, so once it’s dried and ready to be removed, it’s simply peeled off. To finish, moisturiser is applied.

After the treatment, my skin was clear, with no signs of redness at all. Skin was soft and looked refreshed, though the best part was indeed the massage. The one-hour Soin Dermatologie treatment for sensitive skin costs €75.
