The Tallinn International Horse Show will attract the best horses and riders in Europe

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the first Tallinn Horse Show. To mark the occasion the Estonian Equestrian Association has decided to raise the level of the International Horse Show from two to three stars. Meaning that now top European riders from beyond the region will also now compete at the Unibet Arena in Tallinn from October 6 to 8.

Three Longines competitions will take place during the event. “The prize money of these competitions attracts high-level riders to Tallinn from further afield, not just from our neighboring countries,” explained Riina Pill, general secretary of the Estonian Equestrian Association.

According to her, the desire to raise the level of competitions has been on the organisers’ table for a long time. This year, enough sponsors were obtained and the 20th anniversary of the Horse Show can be celebrated with special joy. Spectators will also be able to enjoy watching some of Europe’s current best horses and riders.

Tallinn International Horse Show has also not forgotten Ukrainian horses. The Ukrainian Equestrian Charity Foundation, International Equestrian Federation (FEI), as well as a number of other national federations and charities, are raising funds for Ukrainian stables, riding schools, and clubs currently working in desperate conditions to save horses from the war. You can donate funds to the relief work here. This year, the employees and volunteers of the Tallinn International Horse Show will also dress in the colors of the Ukrainian flag to show solidarity with the country.
