The first ever Tartu Tribute Fest 2024 will take place today (August 14) at the city’s Song Festival Grounds. The festival, which is part of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 programme, will feature performances by renowned tribute acts and local artists.
The event will bring together ABBA Chique from the UK, known for their authentic ABBA tribute shows, which have been highly acclaimed in Estonia. They will perform classic hits such as “Waterloo,” “Chiquitita,” and “Dancing Queen.“
Rolf Roosalu will pay tribute to the Bee Gees, performing their iconic disco hits like “Stayin’ Alive” and “How Deep Is Your Love.” His performance promises to take the audience back to the disco era of the 70s and 80s, recreating the energy and style of the Bee Gees.
The festival will also feature a tribute to Queen by Alika, Koit Toome, Ott Lepland, and Madis Arro. They will perform legendary tracks like “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Will Rock You,” and “Somebody to Love,” offering a fresh and unique take on these classic songs.
Tartu Tribute Fest 2024 promises an evening of nostalgia, live performances, and unforgettable music. You can get more information about the event on Tartu’s official website.
