Kizomba Tallinn Festival 2026 Features Several International Dance Styles

Starting tomorrow, the Kizomba Tallinn Festival 2026 will feature four days and nights of global dance styles, workshops, and more. The venue is the Tallinn Cruise Terminal, at Logi tn 4/2, right next to A-Terminal on the newly revamped promenade. Participants can expect a dance party unlike any other, and unquestionably one of the biggest international dance events in the Baltics.

While the nights are for the massive dance parties, the days are for workshops, welcoming beginners and more experienced dancers alike. Bootcamps for real beginners, masterclasses, daytime social dance sessions, and even private lessons will be available.

The three main dance types at Kizomba Tallinn Festival 2026 are Kizomba, a sensual and rhythmic dance originating in Angola whose name actually means “celebration” in one of the local languages; Bachata, originating from the Dominican Republic and consisting of several different subgenres, some of which were banned in several countries for being “too vulgar”, yet the sensual style danced around the world today was developed in Spain; and Urban Kiz, a new variant of Kizomba developed in Paris about 15 years ago, featuring faster movements between partners.

Kizomba Tallinn Festival 2026 features several international DJs for the various dance styles, as well as dance partners to perform for participants. The full list of DJs and performers is available here, special deals on hotels and tickets are available here, and the official website, while still under construction, is here. Note that while the official event is 5–9 March—five days—the final day is only listed because the night of 8 March will last until the early morning hours of the next day.
