Why is travelling so fascinating and addictive? What makes people return to the same place again and again? Or why do others always look for new routes and destinations? They say that travelling broadens your horizons, and this is true. When the scenery changes and you don’t know what lies ahead, you feel a certain freedom that everyday life rarely offers. And it doesn’t take much to go on a trip, because sometimes the destination can be found right next door, for example in this article!
For this page you’re reading now, I had the pleasure of going on a road trip to southern Estonia with my dogs after a long time. We visited local farms, cafés, and restaurants, and got to know Estonian farm products. We stayed in a magnificent manor on the other side of the Latvian border, and enjoyed the hospitality of the Kubija Spa Hotel. This hotel is dog-friendly, by the way, like so many places to stay in Estonia.
You can also explore Estonia comfortably without a car. A bike is a great choice, and transporting one costs less than ten euros on long-distance trains. It’s free on local commuter trains. So, jump on board, and let the landscapes, tastes, and culture of Estonia take you away. I hope you will find ideas and inspiration in articles we will publish in the coming days. Maybe your next trip will start from this page.
Have an exciting summer in Estonia!
