This weekend, the romantic coastline from Ikla to Virtsu in south Estonia will be brought to life with farmyard cinemas, concerts, end of summer café parties and much more as part of the three-day-long Beach Road Romance Night festival (August 18-20).
The coastal road from Ikla to Virtsu in Southwest Estonia is known for its quiet and idyllic villages, authentic people and diverse natural landscapes.
This weekend, the area will come to life with one last hurrah to summer and the age-old summer love. As just a taster of what is on offer during the Beach Road Romance Night festival, on Friday evening you will be able to watch a movie at the Metsamaa heritage farm in Kihnu, attend an end-of-the-summer party at Saulepi caf-bar, sit back and relax at a romantic concert in Vango, and much more.
The festival will end on Sunday with an independence day concert in honour of the 110th anniversary of the birth of Estonian musician and composer Raimond Valgre at Uulu Culture and Sports Center.
You can find the full programme of events and locations on the official festival website (in Estonian only) here.
