I Land Sound Festival 2026

I Land Sound is a four-day music and arts festival held annually on Illiku Islet in Orissaare, at the gateway to Saaremaa, Estonia’s largest island. From 16–19 July, musical acts from Estonia and abroad will perform on eight stages. I Land Sound has become one of Estonia’s premiere festivals, set against the beautiful backdrop of the coast.

This festival isn’t like other festivals that focus only on music. I Land Sound is where music, art, nature, and community meet, and share equal importance. The multiple stages are all unique, set in the forest, by the sea, or in a field, and the programme includes art installations, workshops, wellness sessions, saunas, and all manner of daytime activities designed to help you relax. And, of course, lots of entertainment!

Getting to I Land Sound is only the beginning of the fun. Take the short ferry from Virtsu to Kuivastu, drive a few minutes across the island of Muhu, cross the bridge to Saaremaa, and turn right. That’s essentially all there is to it! Camping is available at the festival grounds, or stay sober and drive to Kuressaare to spend the night in one of the city’s many spa hotels. Just don’t speed…the cops will be waiting for you if you do!

I Land Sound has a food truck area and plenty of beverages. Environmentalism is a major practice at this festival, so be prepared to use reusable cups and dishes, which will require a small deposit.

The full programme is available here, and the Facebook event is here, so you can see if you have any friends going.
