Roxette UK Tour Coming Up

Roxette UK is widely recognised as the leading tribute act for the iconic Swedish pop–rock duo that swept the airwaves starting in 1986. This will be the band’s first appearance in Estonia, with three nights of great music by Roxette. The first night will be 3 April in Tallinn, followed by 4 April in Jõhvi, and then 5 April in Tartu.

This live tribute show is entirely dedicated to Roxette, so audiences can expect a night full of nostalgia and the great feelings associated with earlier times in our lives. Songs such as “The Look”, “Joyride”, “Listen to Your Heart”, and “It Must Have Been Love” will certainly be on the setlist.

Originally formed in 1986 by Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle, who were already established musicians in Sweden, Roxette was an instant success—you could even say they were dressed for it—as a supergroup. Their international breakthrough came just two years later with the release of “Look Sharp!” in 1988. The band went on to release four number-one hits on the Billboard Hot 100 in as many years.

Roxette UK will be fronted by Libby Cooper as Marie, and Matt Black as Per. Both musicians are well-known for capturing the style and charisma of the original duo, and bringing that raw energy to the stage to the delight of audiences. Sadly, the actual band lost Marie in 2019, but Per has hired Lena Philipsson as her replacement for their 2025–26 tour in South America and Western Europe, plus other locations.

Tickets and more information are available here.
