Wine Fair This Week in Tallinn

This coming Thursday and Friday, 9–10 April, will see Estonia’s largest wine and beverage expo: Veinimess 2026, or Wine Fair. Held in Tallinn’s Kultuurikatel, or Creative Hub in English, the event will feature over a thousand wines at the dégustation. Visitors can meet wine and beverage importers, and producers from around the world.

Hundreds of wineries will be represented. This is both a great opportunity to discover your new favourite wines, as well as restock your wine cellar. Local restaurant and bar owners will also be there, networking. If you’re not so experienced with wine, then you’ll be happy to know that there will also be masterclasses offered, so you can discover what wine has to offer, and refine your tastes.

The winners of Estonia’s Wine of the Year 2026 competition will also be announced. While there used to be an old joke that if Jesus could turn water into wine, perhaps he could do the same for Estonian wine, it has been proven beyond a doubt that Estonian wine has developed incredibly over the past couple of decades. This country produces some truly world-class wines now.

Both days will also feature a raw oyster bar, as well as Nordic Catering for anyone who gets hungry. Live DJ music will be played throughout both days of the event, and there will be an afterparty beginning at 22:00 on Friday to mark the end of Wine Fair 2026.

More information and tickets are available here.
