The Retrobest Festival will take you back to 80s and 90s
Text Mark Taylor

The Retrobest Music Festival at Pühajärve beach and park in Otepää this weekend (June 28-29) promises a nostalgic journey through the 1980s and 1990s. Headlining the two-day extravaganza are the legendary Gipsy Kings.
The band are renowned for their infectious blend of rumba and flamenco rhythms, showcased in iconic tracks like “Bamboleo” and “Volare.”
Other acts taking to the festival stage include German pop sensation C.C. Catch, who will bring alive her chart-topping classics such as “Soul Survivor” and “Strangers By Night.” Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, Kuldne Trio will mark their 50th anniversary with a special performance featuring Jüri Vlassov, Peeter Oja, and Sepo Seeman, performing hits like “Kui Sa Minu Tädi Näed” and “Hopp, Johanna.”
International flair continues with Bad Boys Blue who will deliver their signature tunes, while Wanda Dee, known for her contributions to The KLF collective, will grace the stage with her unique style. Top Estonian acts will also shine on the stage, with Anne Veski performing classics like “Neiu Mustas Kleidis” and Terminaator reviving their anthems such as “Juulikuu Lumi” and “Muinasjutu Mets.”
