Tallinn Sea Days Offers Seaside Fun for Everyone

Tallinn Sea Days Offers Seaside Fun for Everyone

Tallinn Sea Days is a family-friendly event showcasing watercraft of all shapes and sizes, from yachts to motorboats. There will be concerts in five ports around Tallinn as the fleet progresses, and the theme of this year’s event will be maritime safety and security. There will also be a special “sea taxi” available.

On the first day, start with a morning sauna at the Igloo Park at Noblessner Port, then take the sea taxi to the Seaplane Harbour to watch the first Tall Ships Race. At 18:00 at the Old Harbour, enjoy a concert by the Port of Tallinn Choir. Or if modern music is more your style, there is a concert at the Seaplane Harbour at the same time featuring Põhja Tallinn, followed at 21:00 by Vennaskond. There are also several other smaller events for the whole family throughout the day.

Day two sees more of the same, but this time at all five ports: the Old Harbour, Seaplane Harbour, Noblessner, the Kalev Yacht Club, and Kalaranna Quarter. Musical artists that night include Curly Strings, Stefan, Vaiko Eplik & Mari Jürjens, Jäääär, Metsatöll, and Maarja-Liis Ilus. 2 Quick Start will be the main musical act on day three.

There are several museums around these ports, as well as restaurants, cafés, bars, art galleries, and exhibition halls, such as the Proto Discovery Centre.

More information, as well as the complete programme, are available here, but only in Estonian.
