Pudel Baar, one of the oldest and most popular bars in Telliskivi, is set to close on February 14 after its current lease was terminated early by its landlord, Telliskivi Creative City. The news came on the bar’s official Facebook page.
“We are devastated to announce that our contract here at Telliskivi Creative City has been terminated early, and we’ll be closing our doors for good in February.”
In the 9 years that Pudel has been open, the area around it has transformed from a collection of derelict soviet time buildings into an internationally renowned area packed with bars, restaurants, cafés and shops.
However, there is hope that Pudel may find a new location soon, with them adding to their statement that, “if any of you know of a spot which you think would be great for a future Pudel Baar, then please contact us after the holidays.”
