Asian Flavours Offered in Tallinn’s Rotermann Quarter

Text and photos Timo Huttunen

Asian Flavours Offered in Tallinn’s Rotermann QuarterOm.house is located in the heart of the Rotermann Quarter.

The historic Rotermann Quarter is known for its urban architecture and some of the hottest restaurants in the city. The area has become Tallinn’s new centre for nightlife.

One of the brightest stars is Om.house, a modern pan-Asian restaurant and bar. It is not simply a place to eat, but a journey into the fascinating flavours of the East with a Western twist.

The stylish interior, combining industrial roughness with Asian elegance, creates the perfect setting for everything from a relaxed lunch to a longer evening out.

The heart of the restaurant is its impressive open kitchen, where chefs prepare sushi, crispy gyoza dumplings, and wok dishes in front of guests.

The menu highlights shareable dishes such as crispy ika tempura and creamy scallops. It successfully combines traditional Asian flavours with modern and healthy culinary trends. This is fusion cuisine at its best.

The dishes are visually impressive.

In addition, Om.house offers two private tatami-style rooms for groups of ten people, Bright Tatami and Light Tatami, making them ideal for celebrations with friends or business meetings. In one of the rooms, guests can even grill their own food on a built-in table grill.

On weekend evenings, Om.house transforms into one of Tallinn’s most popular meeting places. On Fridays and Saturdays, local top DJs create the atmosphere while bartenders prepare exotic cocktails. The restaurant is particularly well known for its extensive cocktail selection.

Om.house, Rotermanni 18/2, Tallinn.
