Il Divo to perform in Tallinn for the first time

The internationally acclaimed classical crossover vocal group Il Divo are set to perform in Tallinn for the very first time on October 23. Their New Day Tour, which honours the tragic passing of former member Carlos Marin in 2021, will see the band showcase songs that they have rarely performed live.

Il Divo was created by world-famous music producer Simon Cowell back in 2003. The singers, who were moderately well-known at the time, came from all over the world.

After the passing of Carlos Marin of COVID-19 in 2021, the remaining members of the band are David Miller from America, Sebastien Izambard from France, and Urs Buhler from Switzerland. They will be joined on stage in Tallinn by new member, Mexican-American baritone, Steven LaBrie.

Hailed as the most successful classical crossover group in music history, Il Divo have sold more than 30 million records worldwide and collected a staggering 160 gold and platinum albums around the world.

“We don’t just make music, we create an experience. We want people to move to another place with the help of music. To feel something they haven’t felt before,” said band member David Miller.

Il Divo’s concert in Tallinn, which is part of the band’s global New Day Tour, will support their 10th studio album, “For Once In My Life: A Celebration Of Motown”. The concert will also showcase songs from their extensive catalogue that have rarely been heard live.

Tickets for the concert are still available at Piletilevi
