Hiiumaa Restaurant Week underway

The popular Hiiumaa Restaurant Week, began on Saturday and will run until April 27. In total, four restaurants around the island will offer special menus as part of the event.
The first of these is Kao Thai in Käina, which offers authentic Thai flavours. Their menu for restaurant week includes either crispy fish in a sweet and sour sauce or chicken with garlic-oyster sauce, mushrooms, long beans and rice, along with a dessert of your choice.
The next is the ever-popular Rannapaargu restaurant in Kärdla, which has been welcoming diners for 53 years. The 3-course menu includes an appetizer of salmon, a main of beef cheek, and chocolate brownie dessert. All of the dishes being inspired by this year’s art year.
Hiiumaa Pruulikoda (Brewery House) restaurant in Kärdla pays homage to Mediterranean cuisine in its special menu. The light menu includes a Nicoise salad, seafood stew, and Morrocan orange cake.
The last of the restaurants taking part in his year’s Hiiumaa Restaurant Week is Café Ruudi in Käina. The café is located inside the beautiful Windtower, which also includes a museum and the highest indoor climbing wall in the Baltics.
