Have you always wanted to know what opera sets look like up close and explore parts of the building that are usually closed to the public? This is possible in the magnificent building of the Estonian National Opera in Tallinn.
During the guided tour, which lasts around an hour, you will get to know some of the many spaces of the opera house and life behind the scenes. At the same time, you will learn more about the building itself, stage art, opera and ballet.
The journey through the opera begins on Saturdays from the main lobby at 5:30 pm. Tours are organised only on Saturday evenings before the performance, with the exception of premieres, when the performers are allowed to prepare for their important evening in peace.
English-language tours are organised on Saturdays. The next dates are 28.10, 4.11, 11.11, 18.11, and 25.11. Tickets, which cost 8 euros per person can be bought at Piletimaailm or directly from the Estonian National Opera.
