23.01–11.04 Kullervo, Tallinn

Finns will be very familiar with the story of Kullervo. One of the great stories of the Kalevala epic by Elias Lönnrot. The story follows Kullervo search for a just world and freedom. The title role will be played by actor Pääru Oja.

 

01–28.02 Tasty Tartu, Tartu

This year, more than 20 restaurants will participate in the Tasty Tartu food event, offering mouth-watering taste experiences for diners. Enjoy traditional Estonian dishes as well as international cuisine.

 

11–27.02 Tallinn Winter Festival, Tallinn

Top young musicians from Estonia, Spain, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Latvia and Italy will perform at Tallinn’s traditional Winter Festival. Concerts will take place in the Concert Hall of Tallinn City Hall, St Michael’s Church, Jaan Poska House and the Theatre and Concert Hall of the Estonian Academy of Music. The event is organised by the Pille Lill Music Foundation PLMF, whose artistic director is opera singer and vocal coach Pille Lill.

 

12.02–15.04 Pärnu Piano, Pärnu

The concert series consists of three classical music concerts, featuring the magnificent Steinway piano from Pärnu Concert Hall as one of the instruments. Estonia’s best instrumentalists and chamber musicians will perform a wide repertoire of new and old music. The programme includes works by Handel, Liszt, Schubert, Prokofiev, Debussy, Sisask and others.

 

13–23.02 Foodlover Restaurant Week, around Estonia

FoodLover Restaurant Week invites foodies to enjoy special menus from Estonia’s top restaurants at affordable prices. The event offers the chance to experience gourmet delights all around the country.

 

14.02 Meeting Valgre, Haapsalu

Experience a romantic evening at the Roosta holiday village this Valentine’s Day. Enjoy good food and music of the beloved Estonian composer Raimond Valgre (1913-1949). The e composer’s music fits the theme of the romantic day perfectly. 

 

14.02–11.04 Virtual Reality Dinner, Tallinn

Have you ever tried a virtual dinner? Virtual reality has become part of many aspects of life, and now it has been brought to the dinner table. At the VR Experience Dinners organised by the invention factory Proto, diners are taken on a journey that combines a traditional dinner with the limitless possibilities offered by virtual reality. VR technology allows participants to immerse themselves in completely different dimensions and adventures safely at the dinner table.

 

15.02 Eesti Laul 2025, Tallinn

Who will be estonia’s representative at Eurovision this year? It will be revealed this Saturday at Unibet Arena, where finalists An-Marlen, Andrei Zevakin feat. Karita, Anna Sahlene, ANT, ELYSA, FELIN, Frants Tikerpuu, gem98, Janek, Johanna Elise (end. Joelle), Minimal Wind, Räpina Jack feat. Kaisa Ling, MARTA LOTTA, Stereo Terror, Tommy Cash and Tuuli Rand will compete for the coveted Eesti Laul crown.

 

15.02 Peipsi Street Food, Peipsi

For one evening, the residents of Peipsi Lake will offer local delicacies. Many farmhouses, home cooks and experienced chefs will over delicious East Estonian cuisine.

 

15–16.02 51th Tartu Marathon, Alutaguse

The Otepää Ski Marathon, held in the hilly and beautiful forest landscapes of Otepää, celebrates its 51st anniversary this year. The Tartu Ski Marathon was first held in 1960, making it one of the oldest ski marathons in the world. The current two-day event is also one of the largest ski marathons in the world, attracting some 5,000 sports enthusiasts.
