Comedian Ed Byrne Returns to Tallinn

Ed Byrne is one of the most celebrated comedians in Ireland and the UK, and on 16 April he will bring his standup show “Ed Byrne—The Story So Far” to Tallinn’s Creative Hub, or Kultuurikatel. This will be his second time performing in Estonia, and he will showcase highlights of his material from his entire career, hence the “so far” part of the title.

Byrne has worked in comedy for over three decades, meaning he has an extensive catalogue of material. From a professional point of view, it will be fascinating to see how he might present his earlier material against the backdrop of so much social change in the past ten years alone. “The Story So Far” will showcase carefully selected highlights from 14 different solo shows, which the organisers of this event describe as his “finest jokes, anecdotes, and routines.”

The content of the show is structured around Byrne’s life story, including themes such as his childhood in Dublin, and his experiences travelling internationally. The performance is described as a narrative journey that blends autobiographical storytelling with observational humour.

Ed Byrne throughout his comedy career has achieved critical and popular success, including sold-out performances at Edinburgh Fringe, and appearances on extremely well-known shows such as “Mock the Week”, “Have I Got News for You”, and “The Graham Norton Show”.

More information and tickets are available here.
