23.11.24–29.05.25 Kinky Boots, Vanemuine Theatre, Tartu

The hit musical Kinky Boots tells a heart-warming and humorous story of friendship, individuality and bold fashion choices. This six-time Tony Award-winning production with music by pop icon Cyndi Lauper is directed by Finnish director Samuel Harjanne.

 

30.11.24–05.01.25 Christmas City, Tartu

The Christmas Town in Tartu’s Town Hall Square will be open to visitors until this Sunday. Beautifully lit glass pavilions will offer exhibitions, workshops, music, cafés and more. You can also by festive products for the home and for gifts.

 

01.12.24–04.01.25 Christmas Wonderland, Torma Manor, Jõgeva County

Until the end of this week, the atmospheric Christmas village at Torma Manor in Jõgevamaa offers a varied programme for the whole family. You can meet Santa’s brother Glamm, elves, farmyard animals, and much more.

 

03.12.24–07.01.25 Christmas in Niguliste, Niguliste Church, Tallinn

At the heart of the medieval church hall, surrounded by art, stands a Christmas tree decorated by Shishi. Visitors can also explore an exhibition about unicorns and attend a variety of festive concerts until the end of this week.

 

14.12.24–05.01.25 Lottemaa Christmas Land, Reiu, Pärnu County

In Lotteremaa, Christmas has been awaited all year. All the villagers’ homes, gardens and forest paths have been decorated and a lively Christmas pageant has been prepared for visitors. Lottemaa has lots to do and see for the whole family.

 

27–30.12 ABBA Chique – Suur aastalõpukontsert ”Happy New Year”, Around Estonia

ABBA Chique are a famous British ABBA cover band. Their interpretations of classic ABBA hits such as “Waterloo”, “Chiquitita” and “Dancing Queen”, dazzling costumes and impressive stage presence have seen the popular group play sold out concerts in Estonia in recent years.

 

30–31.12 End-of-Year Concert, Tallinn, Tartu, Jõhvi

Concert halls in Jõhvi, Tartu and Tallinn will be filled with classical music to celebrate the New Year. This year’s concert will focus on the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In addition to Mozart, the programme includes music by Holst and Tormis. The concert will feature violinist Mari Poll, violist Liisa Randalu and the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra.

 

31.12 New Year’s Eve concert and light show, Freedom Square, Tallinn

The Tallinn City Centre Administration will present a stunning New Year’s Eve 2024 concert and light show in the heart of the city on Freedom Square. The evening’s centrepiece is a beautiful light display beginning at midnight.

Tallinn BachFest celebrates the music of Johann Sebastian Bach with top-class performances in historic concert venues around Tallinn.

 

01–07.01 XXXVIII International Niguliste Organ Week, Niguliste Museum, Tallinn

The Niguliste Museum’s International Organ Week demonstrates some of the finest European organ musicians from Estonia, the Netherlands and France. Performers include Matteo Imbruno, Andres Uibo, Mari-Liis Uibo and Edouard Oganessian. Other instruments will play alongside the majestic organ.
