Tähtikaraoke first opened its doors in the spring of 2022 and has quickly established itself as one of Viru Street’s most popular karaoke venues. According to owner Jouni Temonen, the majority of the clientele are currently Finnish, although the venue also attracts many Swedish and German visitors.
The karaoke selection includes over 70,000 songs in various languages. Customers can reserve their turn either via their own mobile phones, a tablet available at the counter, or traditionally by signing up at the bar.
“At Tähtikaraoke, we always have a great sense of community. People dance, get into each other’s performances, and sing together. We also keep the karaoke open every day as long as there are customers. This is made possible by our service-oriented and flexible staff. I don’t believe this will be the last place for our team,” says Jouni Temonen proudly, hinting that something new may be on the horizon.

In the summer, customers can enjoy the karaoke experience on the sunny terrace, where light snacks can be ordered to accompany drinks.
“In the summer, the terrace is always full. The sunny weather, extensive drink menus, and tasty savoury snacks attract customers to the terrace. Plus, we have all the favourite Finnish drinks on offer,” Temonen adds.
Tähtikaraoke is open daily from 2 PM onwards.
