This evening at 7 pm, the Tallinn instalment of a series of charity concerts named “MUSIC. SUPPORT. FREEDOM.”, will take place at Sveta Baar in Telliskivi. The concert will feature Ukrainian performers Constantine, Ingret and Tonka. All proceeds from the event will go to support Ukraine in the form of humanitarian aid, medical supplies, etc.
“Art illuminates the world even in dark times, helps to express powerful emotions, unites the souls and hearts of the people of earth. The voices of Ukrainians must be heard. This is what the strength, beauty, love and pain of a beautiful, hardworking and talented country sounds like,” the organizers explain.
The performers at the event will be Constantine, Ingret and Tonka. Constantine, is known for his unique voice, fashion sense and bold lyrics. Ingret gained popularity in Ukraine after starring on “The Voice” and “X Factor”. And, experimental indie band Tonka released their debut EP just two days before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine began in February.
Tickets for the event at Sveta Baar in Tallinn cost 15 euros, and the event begins at 7pm. Entry for Ukrainian refugees is free of charge.
