Critics of the vegan lifestyle too often tend to see it as a set of restrictions on what you can eat, but that’s a rather shortsighted view. In addition to being healthier in many ways, it’s also healthier to view the vegan lifestyle as a cuisine of its own, rather than what’s left after all the rules. If you see it as a cuisine, and you learn what you can do with plant-based foods, a whole new world of food, tasty delights, and virtually limitless and sustainable options for how to eat open up. And on 10–11 October, you can learn all about it at the Tallinn Vegan Fair 2026.
In Tallinn’s popular Kultuurikatel venue, known in English as the Tallinn Creative Hub, the Tallinn Vegan Fair will host two days of dozens of companies and individuals offering hundreds of vegan products and foods. Visitors will get the chance to sample many, and even purchase them. More than 3000 visitors are expected this year!
In addition to the fair aspect of Tallinn Vegan Fair 2026, there will also be several lectures by locals as well as experts from abroad. There will also be a series of workshops where visitors can learn much more about the vegan lifestyle. Consider it a “Vegan 101” event for those interested in possibly living this way of life. And of course, the annual film screening. This 16th annual Vegan Fair will also offer a new element, namely the exhibition of products that are not typically available in grocery store vegan sections.

On a side note, the link shows the Tallinn Vegan Fair’s mascot, which appears to be a happy whale, the hunting and consumption of which is generally frowned upon by most vegans. It is unclear why this mascot is used, instead of an unhappy carrot.
