Tallinn Street Food Festival 2026

The Tallinn Street Food Festival is a three-day open-air food festival held at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds. The 2026 edition takes place from 22–24 May, and marks the sixth time the event has been organised at the same venue. Located in the green seaside area of Tallinn close to the city centre, the festival combines street food, live music, and family entertainment in one of Estonia’s best-known public event spaces.

The central feature of the festival is a 500-metre long food avenue where visitors can sample a wide range of dishes prepared outdoors by vendors from Estonia as well as neighbouring countries. According to the organisers, the selection includes classic street food and newer culinary trends alike. Foods specifically mentioned in the programme include handcrafted burgers, mini-pancakes, poke bowls, and Italian gelato. The event is designed for a broad audience, and aims to bring together both established food businesses and smaller culinary entrepreneurs.

In addition to food, the festival includes a continuous entertainment programme. Concerts and DJ performances are held each day in the seaside section of the Song Festival Grounds, creating a festival atmosphere that combines music with outdoor dining. The organisers also continue the event’s tradition of operating the large Sky Tivoli amusement park alongside the festival, making it especially attractive for families with children, but perhaps not so much for people who fear heights.

The Tallinn Song Festival Grounds provide a setting strongly associated with Estonia’s cultural identity and public celebrations, which is why this venue is repeatedly chosen for this event. The spacious locale allows visitors to spend time with family and friends while enjoying views of the sea. The organisers describe the event as combining good food, music, and the atmosphere of the summer city.

The festival has become part of a broader “Street Food” event series organised across Estonia, and this one is the main event. More information is available here.
