Tallinn Music Week promises a heavier set for fans of heavier music

Tallinn Music Week hasn’t forgotten about metalheads. In the Kalamaja Depoo area, next to Baltic Station Square, there’s an interesting club called D3, where seven metal bands from Estonia, France, and Serbia will take to the stage on Thursday, 3 April.

Heavy Music Estonia has selected seven promising bands for TMW’s heavy metal evening, including two foreign bands, Heartlay and Lavina, who will arrive in Tallinn from France and Serbia.

Don’t get caught in an avalanche…

The evening will be closed by Lavina, an energetic, progressive heavy metal band. The six-piece band released their debut album “Odyssey” relatively soon after their formation, and have since toured clubs and festivals across Europe, performing in Budapest, Prague, and Bratislava, among others.

Their music blends Balkan rhythms with modern melodic metal. “As our band name Lavina (which means “avalanche”) suggests, we are not just a band, we are an unstoppable force of nature,” the six-piece band describes themselves.

It’s worth going there to see if the claim is true! Read more about the band or listen to their music here.
